The NewHeir Bluegrass Band is one of the most promising new bluegrass groups to hit the scene. Their collection of songs is exclusively bluegrass gospel with an encouraging, family-friendly message for audiences of all ages.
NewHeir is proud to be Endorsed by Martin Guitars, and MXL microphones. Also NewHeir has been nominated 2010, SPBGMA Album of the Year, self titled "NewHeir Bluegrass"
The group has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with a few well-known groups such as, Dailey & Vincent, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Lonesome River Band, & the Boxcars.
The group consists of Lee Schofield on the guitar & vocals, Nathan Gates on banjo & vocals, Charity Gates on mandolin & vocals, Ken Roberts on bass and vocals, & Caleb Gates on dobro and vocals.
